Opening Concert Celebration
The Lone Star College-Montgomery Music Department starts a new chapter in its history with the opening of the New Music Hall. This state-of-the-art new facility houses a 175-seat recital hall with acoustical design by noted firm JaffeHolden. This special concert will feature the college's diverse ensembles, faculty artists, and student performers, as well as the premiere of my Shine Out, Stars! for mixed chorus, trumpet, and piano.

LSC-M Chamber Singers Tour to Austin, TX
I direct the Chamber Singers in a special home concert before we leave on tour to Austin. The program will explore the edgier side of contemporary choral repertoire and it will include a special new commissioned work, Three Madrigals, by talented and emerging composer Zachary Wadsworth, as well as Rautavaara's Suite de Lorca. Divergence Vocal Theater debuts its new performance space with a signature interdisciplinary world premiere. Handel: Acis and Galatea

To close the season, the Chamber Singers perform Handel's charming opera-serenata, Acis and Galatea. The performance will feature Kerry Jennings, tenor and director of opera at Lamar University; faculty vocal artists Lisa Borik, soprano, and Michael Walsh, baritone; and a stylish ensemble of professional instrumentalists provided by Divisi Strings.
